Kyle Washut, DDS
Dr. Kyle Washut brings a strong commitment to the Yakima valley and loves the opportunity to serve the patients of our community. After growing up in Selah and graduating from Selah High, he obtained two degrees from the University of Washington, completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2016. Upon graduation, he began a yearlong dental residency at the Union Gospel Mission (UGM) in Yakima where he gained valuable post-graduate experience managing complex dental needs. After completing the residency, he joined his father, Dr. Richard "Rick" Washut, in private practice in Selah while staying on as Resident Advisor at the UGM, practicing and teaching the next class of dental residents one day a week until his father's retirement in 2022. He now considers it a privilege to carry on his father’s legacy of offering compassionate care at Washut Family Dentistry full-time.
Dr. Kyle’s dedication to continual learning led him to enroll in advanced coursework at the Kois Center in Seattle. This ongoing, world-renowned curriculum ensures patients receive a thoughtful approach to phased dentistry that meets their goals. The Kois educational foundation blends with a shared philosophy of relationship-based healthcare initially established by his father and grandfather, Dr. Richard G. Washut, before him. Dr. Kyle is focused on reaching new levels of excellence for his patients as a third generation dentist.
When he is not in the office or engaged in volunteer work, Dr. Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, Marguerite, and their two young sons, Hugh and Wesley. He also loves sports of all kinds, including football, golf, skiing, and mountain biking.
